What’s In My Makeup Bag

This is what my everyday carry has been this week. Let me know if you’d like to see swatches.

  • Short bobby pins I purchased from Target: No doubt, I will need to either get my hair out of my face or off my neck—its a summer in South Florida thing…
  • Boscia Green Tea Blotting Linens: I usually don’t use a face powder so sometimes I will notice a bit more shine on my forehead than I’d like–usually right before I see a client. Rule number 1, don’t scare clients.
  • TRESemmé TRES TWO Spray in travel size:  To keep little flyaways in place.
  • Bobbi Brown refillable palette with concealer, corrector, face touch up stick and 2 lips colors–Rose Berry and Sandwash Pink. This is a true space saver. A dollop of each of the products mentioned above and I am set for the possible melt off—another South Florida thing…
  • travel lip brush because no one wants lip color all over the inside of her bag.
  • Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in eastend snob: Makes nude lip colors last longer and helps me to define my upper lip after I’ve talked off all my lip color or gloss, had lunch or a snack…usually chocolate…shhhhh.
  • No7 Line & Define in Blush: might be discontinued.
  • Sonia Kashuk Lip Definer in Nude.
  • Sonia Kashuk Satin Luxe Lip Color in Blushing: a nice creamy pink just a bit brighter than my natural lip.
  • Rimmel Moisture Renew Lip Color in Let’s Get Naked: More peachy than my own lips and very hydrating. This product doesn’t last as long so the Sonia Kashuk nude lip liner really comes in handy.
  • Julep’s new Skip The Brush creamy blush stick in Peony Pink: new from Julep, this blush is pretty great. It blends well to create a blushed glow without looking too shimmery. Blends to a powdery finish.  It’s buildable and you can even reapply during the day without it looking blotchy–better than many cream blushes I’ve used in the past.
